An old tale about forgiveness

Forgiveness is a powerful thing. We all know this.

But when you’re wronged so badly, and the wound cuts deep...

It’s not always that easy to forgive.

Which is why I want to share this short video featuring British Buddhist monk, Gelong Thubten where he shares an old Buddhist story on forgiveness we can all take to heart.

Simple. Short. And wonderfully profound.

The next time you feel like forgiveness is the last thing you want to do, remember to ask yourself, “who am I really angry with?”

P.S. For those of you unfamiliar with Gelong Thubten, just know that he isn’t just any monk.

He spent FOUR years in self-imposed exile, meditating for hours on an isolated Scottish island, while living in what can only be described as a cell.

Today, he has taught at many of our Mindvalley events and even trained the actors of superhero movie, Dr. Strange on meditation. (See pic below.)
